first bike?

...technically, my first was a Rupp mini-bike with a 4 horse Briggs and Stratton when I was 12. Darn thing did about 50mph.

...first real motorcycle I had was in 1968 (I was 15), it was a 1966 Kawasaki F-1 175cc street model. It was a fun little ride at the time and saw nothing but dirt and mud.

I had a 2-seater speedboat in 1977 and met some guys who had '75 Z1's and I was bitten! I sold my boat that winter and bought one of the Z1's the next spring and that was it. I rode all over but had to scrimp and squirrel money away for everything I needed but it was worth it. Away from bikes from'85 until about '04 when I bought my LTD and now can't get Kawasaki out of my system. My '74 is about one day from completion but will have to wait until spring to get on the road, but it sounds awesome!
