Looks cool and has some kick butt CCA's!
If I had a race bike or were building something where weight savings and mounting were an issue with a lead acid battery, I'd for sure get one of these.
But for the average bike owner / rider, $159.99 (+ shipping I imagine) is quite a chunk of change for any battery IMO.
I'd be willing to bet though that if they become popular, the price will drop like other new-to-the-scene tech items (DVD players, etc).

That will definitely be the battery in the J build... Nice to hear some opinions.

You have to be careful charging them -- they odn't need charged often but when you do you have to be careful.
I had a first gen ballistic 8 cell we put in a 600cc micro race car - they ran it 1/2 season - pulled it I ran it the 2nd 1/2 of the season as a secondary battery in the 14 when I ran 24volt starter setup and then put it in a buddies quad that sat in a barn all winter -- when I asked for it back - after all that and no charging all year it was still 12.8volts.
I plan on running 2 of the 12 cells in the kz project I'm working on.
