KZ 1100 - How Available Are Parts was created by WABBMW
I've seen an ad for a 1981 KZ1100, and wondered about parts. I do not need a project, but you know how that goes. Can anyone give any advice? Thanks.

Hello Bill...yeah, I saw that bike also. Availability of parts should not be an issue in deciding if you want that project bike. 1100A parts are readily available on eBay and aftermarket maintenance parts are carried by Z1E.

BTW, I have the manual for that bike and some of the special tools :) ...and you know where I live.

Thanks Michael. I am out of town and the bike may be sold by now. I am just mildly interested in it. Have too many home projects that should take priority over it, but they are not any fun.

ditto on the 'too many projects'...besides, I value my cajones where they are...if I should appear at home with yet another motorcycle :)

When you find a cure for that specific issue, please share it...

I'm sure that we can fabricate a protective cage, but I don't know how comfortable it would be. :)

I have seen the ad for that bike also. I wonder if he has the title. It seems there has been a rash of un-titled bikes popping up for sale recently.
