Haha I most certainly do mean east coast. Cape Spear is as far east as you can go and still be in North America. It'd mean a lot for me to bring the flag home and out there. I live 130km from there.

I want to see you succeed in this, it will be cool to see it go up and over like that.

Kawickrice, we messed up. We should have taken it down to Key West (furthest point south in the mainland U.S. that you can drive to). Not furthest point south in the continent, but hey, we could have visited Dirty Harry's for a couple of cold ones.

East Coast riders, in case you haven't been able to follow all the back and forth in the main thread, we've got a plan for moving the relay north. Mike 750 (CT) and 650ed (MD) plan to meet in Cherry Hill NJ. The exact date isn't set yet but it will have to be after May 19th due to rider availability.
Squints, we'd still like to get you involved. Check your PMs and get back to me so Ed and Mike can loop you into their plan.
And if there's anyone else in the PA, NY, NJ area that's getting left out, shoot me a PM. It's getting hard to keep track of everyone as we've had some additions and some drop outs.

Haggard Scott, you should send a private message to 650ed and Topper with your email address. Better yet, send them your cell number. Its the only way to have prompt communication (even if voice mail is left) in order to get confirmation between riders that have hand offs between each other and be kept in the loop. With all the trials and tribulations we had in Florida, good communications is the only thing that kept it from getting stalled indefinitely.

You guys doin this today?
What are the chances I'm going to be able to pick it up in norhtern Maine or in New Brunswick on June 23rd? I'd like to book the ferry very soone but I need a firm commitment its going to be there. Seems like if its in NY this weekend then getting it to Maine in a month is not a problem.

I think the plan is to move North from MD to CT tomorrow (Sunday 5/20).
New England riders please check your email!!! I've sent you all a message with each other's contact info so you can work out the final bit of the East Coast Leg and get us to the first finish line of this relay.
Let's do this thing!!
