Was curious what "family" this bike belonged to? I thought in 86 they were still making the KZ's (like the 700 tarrif busters)
It looks like it's a 4 cylinder with liquid cooling?

Liquid cooled motors arrived in 84 with the GPz900 and 84 or 85 for the GPz600, GPz900 motor design continued up through the 2001 ZX11.

It ushered in the next generation of muscle bikes. I think the VMAX was designed just to compete with it. The 600? Pass.
