Yep! Here in Japan, one can pick up a re-imported Z1 for about 2/3 the price of a JDM Z2.
WPBill,
Do you know who produces these exhaust pipes that are on this bike on the left side of the picture?
These are some custom made 4 in 4, which I had never seen.
Maybe you can put more pictures of this exhaust system and a link to the manufacturer's?
That, I believe, is the Anny's full titanium system. 250000 yen, so about 3300USD at today exchange rate.
Here's the Anny's website:
annys.cc/
unfortunately, its one of those websites where all specifc parts pages fall under a single url so I can't post a link to the system itself.
Click on Parts
Click on --for Z1-- exhaust lineup
Click on ex4Z

WOW!!!!!! I simply cannot believe the range of aftermarket exhausts for these bikes! Bill was nice enough to answer my PM on my thread regarding the Yoshimura R&D superbike exhaust, here is most likely the pipes that were on it: server44.joeswebhosting.net/~do21762/sho...info&products_id=941
Thanks again Bill!

Click on the picture of the Z1 and a pop up will appear that lets you view the 5 gallery pics.
All else fails, I've just posted the pics here: kzrider.com/forum/13-bike-related/485783...t=20&start=40#492810

Yup! Hand bent 4/1 exhaust systems start here at about 50000 yen, so 600USD or thereabouts. And there are multiple manufacturers of 'em. IIRC correctly, the only 4/1 options avail in the US are the V&H and Kerker systems, both of which feature machine bent headers.
