If the seller isn't the titled owner, I would walk away. In Canada, BC specifically, it is crazy hard to get a bike in your name if you can't contact the registered owner. If you're skeptical about it's history, you could pay for a lein (pronounce "lane") check on it ... that'll tell you when it's changed hands, if it was ever stolen, etc. etc.
Hope that helps

Specifically, the 7th letter of the frame VIN will tell you the model...while the series of numbers after the letter portion of the frame VIN will tell you what year the bike model is.

Mcdroid wrote: Yep...looks like a 1983 KZ750L model...it shares much with the KZ750R1 model (aka 1982 GPz750) but is an L3 model (might also be a repainted KZ700A1 model (which also shares much with the above GPz model). If you are in Canada, it also might be a 1984 KZ750L4 model. The frame VIN would nail it to the model.
The 750 L is my guess too. Looks a lot like my 750 e3, but with a slightly different tank and rear fender too (I think). Better pics or vin would make it easier
