Colorado Front Range Riders Want to Ride?

I've tried this before, but I'll try again. Anyone around here want to do a ride like this while the weather is good and the Aspens are Golden?

Join in on part of it or there can be modification to the route. Its a return day ride, Google maps says 5+ Hours. On the Map i have there it is all Paved except for about 2.8mi on Pine Creek road out of Deckers,67 to Jarre Canyon rd. There is a bit of washboard there, but you can do 25 pretty easy.

OK did one solo run on Saturday as the weather was still great. A little slow with all the weekend traffic, up through Woodland Park to Cripple Creek. That's where they all seem to go, the Casino's. But once you go out the other side of Cripple Creek, the traffic dies right off. Saw one Night Hawk 4 cyl, and a hand full of Tupperware Bikes. Otherwise, here, it is all Hardleys, and a few Jap Cruisers. This area is mostly Hardleys I think that's why I almost never see another KZ around here.
If, and I say If there are riders around who want to get in some miles, well hopefully you are. :dry:

Gonna have to stay a bit lower but the weather is good at the moment, for how long???? :laugh:

So only 1 Snow so far around here, and this weekend is supposed to be good riding weather.

We haven't gotten anything below 6000 ft up here on the north side, but they say it's coming.
Sorry I won't be able to make it down...between work, school, and home I can only get a couple of hours free time and C-Springs is an all day trip for me. Hopefully next summer we can get some time for twisties on the Peak-to-Peak highway! I did get up to Horsetooth Res this last weekend:

Looks like Tuesday night/ Wednesday there is a good chance of Snow coming. But it is supposed to warm again after.
There is a ride I've been trying to put together up in the North, but to late this year. Had it all mapped out, roughly 700mi round trip from my place. Next year, come summer then it will be good for those rides again. To high up, and cold, who knows what the weather will do at those altitudes? Its 6300" at the house here, and the only Fun riding is up hill as far as 11K!!!

Something like this is what I was thinking, of course Google Maps can make it hard to get it right.

Another 200mi ride, that gets you out in the warmth of the day and about 4hours of riding.

Thanks Ron, I know you are picky about your paint jobs, but someday I'd like to show you this one, about as close to a dead match to OEM with the paintworkz colors, except it's acrylic urethane.

No ride for me today, youngest daughter played in the opera at CU this afternoon, so had to go and support her (and buy dinner afterwards, of course).

I dropped the pin for Northern Colorado on the map. Hopefully I'll have some time next summer for some longer rides. Hope you had a great ride today, it was beautiful weather.

It was a bit chilly at 10K', and windy most everywhere, but clear sunny skies. Not much leaves left up there either, and snow on the side of the road in the shade. Some of the water looks to be getting pretty frozen. This next cold snap will probably finish off the high riding. But down here the weather shouldn't be to bad for riding, except the dips in the Roller Coaster.

Anybody want to go to Steeles Cycle Bike Wreckers in Denver Today? Going to ride the KZ up from here in the Springs, and do a parts search, as they have 3 Concours and lots of KZ stuff.
Going to leave here at about Noon, and its about an hour up there, they route I take through Palmer park and Sadilia.
Shoot through a PM if interested. I'll check before I leave.
