Wish we had a man of vision like this in the US who could have tried to advance the American Motorcycle before all that was left was H-D and a myriad of miniscule sized companies ranging from Victory/Indian to the Buell all based on the tired old V-twin with a new twist thrown in here and there as though it's cutting edge innovation.
I give him great credit for trying to keep Ducati, Agusta, Husqvarna and Moto Morini brands as owned and made by Italians while at the same time trying to advance the brands technologically. I hope his son can make a go of it with the re-acquisition of Agusta.
