"may" work to show some variance in the market for bottom of the barrel vs $$$..spend twice that to get em right most times and not too much riding off the bat....but a good shape SR is it's own 650..beefy/mags/triple disk/sturdy body work /thicker seat/ not everyones cup of tea...but a STRONG 650 they were...if it is decent and running man...you could do worse...also the ltd and kz 750 motors (lots turn up in good shape) are not to hrad to run elecs and drop right in....later freshen it up with a good 750 engine for 250??????
anyways...if it is clean title and runs...do it

Sometimes a $1,000 bike plus another $1,000 or more in restoration expenses may be brought up almost to par with a pristine example offered for $1,500.
