not bad at all

the haters will come at u on this one, u list a bike in ur sig that elicts responses from haters, v twin motors are taboo here, that being said just ignore and learn not to ask opinions on such matters

Well the way I look at this is I'm a bike guy, don't care what it is. These people are the same ones who complain about the V twin guys being a bunch of douche bags, and they are actually no better.

Who are these mythical V-twin haters? I've never seen one on this site. Just because someone thinks the ape hangers look like something a 14 year old would dream up doesn't mean they hate V-twins or any other engine configuration for that matter. Ed

I'm one of the "NOT a v-twin hater".
In fact, I've been considering getting a 2011 VN1700 Vulcan Nomad. That is if I can convince the stealership to take aluminum cans as a partial deposit and allow me to sweep their parking lot and empty trash cans as partial monthly payment. :woohoo:

Seriously though, I'd love to get the Nomad.

The Highball though?
It looks like Victory is trying waaaay to hard to make it LOOK retro = whitewall tires, blacked out EVERYTHING and "assume the position against the wall" handlebars. To be totally honest, it looks like it'd be incredibly uncomfortable to ride. :pinch:

It's not my cup of tea for sure, but to each their own.
If you like it, that's all that should really matter. ;)

Retro I like the Nomad too but I have a friend that has a Nomad Retro (Drifter) that looks like an Indian so much my friend put an Indian fender light on it even though I begged him NOT to do it. Retro is in with all manufacturers of bikes. Some I like some I don't. Just please do not try and make it something it isn't. My friends bike was nice as it was. It's hard not to emulate success and still sell bikes. Retro is a style.

Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.

It's not the v-twins I hate.
It's the I ride an American made v-twin (Harley) and your bike ante sh*t cause it ante American..
Like my fat ass sister in law said to me one time.
I was going to get a Meanstreak I think thats how you spell it v-twin bike for a good price (sold before I got there) and she said "you need to buy an American bike" just because my brother rides a harley fat boy.
