What is the point of having a new motor bike? You ride it with pride and joy cruising the road like there’s no tomorrow. Driving at the speed of light and never giving up to any challenge that might come ahead. Friends will come over and say, “What a bike”, and have a conversation about the speed, engine and so on.

As everyone sees, new bikes are everywhere on the street. People don’t notice anymore which bike is new and which one is fast. They look just the same. Every year the company renews the paint and sells it in this country with a higher price. What does that make us? Purchasing a new bike is like buying a new strip sticker from the store. People are tired of new bikes and start to look at the past ride.

Having classic motorbike (*including KZ200) is a different story. When you stop at the red traffic light, people will stare at your bike. Suddenly you become a celebrity. Pride and Joy, that’s another point with a different feeling. How would you feel when a man asks you, “Gosh this bike is still around?” You’ll be proud and say, “Yep, that’s mine”.

When you have an old bike and everyone stares at you, you got something on your shoulder. Try this, breaking the traffic regulation and the policeman catches you in the act. On the side of the street, people are looking at you. How would you feel about that?

Yes, having a KZ200 is great, but on the other hand, it brings you a little burden on your shoulder. But this might be an advantage of setting a good attitude on the road.

How many times have you seen traffic regulation violation? Probably you can never count it. In just one day we can see how people easily get through the red light, driving/riding too fast in a busy hour and many more. I am not sure who’s to blame but people are getting crazier today. They don’t even think about their own safety. Often times, we see them talking on the mobile phone while riding motorcycle on the road. I experienced enormous shock on the road while a young man sped up and didn’t have the head lamp on.

We, KZ200 riders can be considered role models as not many people can. We can be polite on the street and always obey the traffic regulation. We can make a better world and help to make the road feels like “home”. Moreover, the world needs heroes to set the example. If not us, then who else?
