The Dreaded What's it Worth Thread.....

So I picked up a nice original 82 KZ1100 A2
21,700 Miles.
Exhaust is nice, seat is nice, side covers are nice. (shiny, no rust, etc)
Needs a new front tire at the moment.
Unmolested in every way! Bought it from the second owner who has had it since '92.
It still has all the factory stickers on the forks and seat and everywhere. Even the break in period sticker on the tach (not to exceed 4k RPM's during the first 500 miles, not to exceed 6k during the next 1k miles)
I really don't know what it's worth, and need to know what to insure it at (stated value) Otherwise, I would get blue book should something happen (roughly $1,000)
Thanks in advance!

I looked at the pic you attached, I'd say that bike is worth about $200.00.
Being the nice guy that I am I'll give you $250.00 for it so you don't feel so bad
having purchased a real old outdated bike like that...
From what I see around here, (I know I live in the boondocks) but used bikes of this vintage
seem to sell for between $2.00 to $2.50 per cc. So I'd say a safe bet would be the bike is worth $2200.00 to $2750.00. Just my opinion....

So long as it disappears well before one had paid 20k in premiums! :S
