Just bought it today, picking it up in the morning.

21k miles, bought it from the 2nd owner. Hasn't been ridden in a couple years.
Put a battery on it and it turned over nicely. Going to do a tune up and give it a go tomorrow.

I can't seem to find much info on this bike...I guess it was a touring bike?

Can anyone direct me to where I can read more about this bike?

Well I got it home today and immediately tore into the carbs. Not too bad, but I do need new diaphragms for the carbs and new tires. I have to look at the rear brake, not working, but may be due to no fluid.

It moves very nicely and is super comfortable...way nicer to my a$$ than my old harley.

Does anyone know what carbs I have? BS34 or BS34-SS???

Thanks,
Shizz

Very helpful. I was about to order one, but you saved me the hassle.

I had a kz 550 up until a month ago, just stumbled on this one on CL earlier, and couldn't pass it up.

Is this a rare bike, or just not documented well?

BS34s I believe.
The BS34SSs were used on the GPZ750s.
But don't quote me.
Diaphragms should be the same.
