KZ750 Twin Question was created by TNBOBBER
I've got a chance to pickup a 78 KZ750 Twin cheap. Is there any thing I need to look out for or steer away from? Is the twins similar too v-twin, with low end torque?

TNBOBBER, starter clutch is the weak link on these, but they also have a kicker. Carb choice is limited also, BS38s. A lot of maintaince parts available (Z1ent and others). Shift cover removal for oil filter changes.
They have good bottom end torque and are light on the top end, stock 50ish HP, 90-100 mph tops.

Cheap or not, they are still a good ride.

Good Luck,
Jim
