Billet parts and swingarms
24 Apr 2011 12:41
What billet parts would you like to be able to get for the KZ 900/1000'S. And what swingarm set up would you like monoshock, dual shock, stock tire size 180,190? Let me know I get alot of emails asking for parts and swingarms so before I do anything I would like ask what do people really want and see if it is worth getting into.

Good idea, so you can run updated brakes on the older forks

Oh now it's a good idea aye?
Dual shock up to 180 tire would be my best guess for not everyone has the tools, space, skills for Mono mounts. With pivot tube exact width as KZ, even the average Joe can install this setup in a weekend.
Two options as I see it... Dual shocks in either case....
1) Stock arm lengths for stock spoke rim and tire sizes. No chain change required. Will fit existing brake systems (drum/Disk) pending model. GS1100 theme!
2) Possibly 2" over for the mods with 180 tires... Obviously brake, spacers, chain etc... would require updates by the owner.
I believe number (1) will be your biggest hit if reasonably priced...
Just my two worthless cents....
Good luck and keep us posted no doubt!....

how about a points cover. i like the ones Yosh makes . they have a bevel on the bottom half, and a Yosh logo/signature on the top. i would suggest u come up with a cool sig. maybe a generic kawi , that way these covers may fit dif modles? or it could be more spacific like Z1 or KZ, or maybe your brass knuckle sig. ?
i love your new motormounts , and kicker block off too.
You could do brake res caps with logos/sigs too.
a lot of guys would need bar risers for there new front ends.and guage and headlight holders.
Just throwing out ideas. Hope it helps.

Rear-sets....
Ones that direct fit, brake pedal/kick start not affected.

Extended arm up to 8" over for up to 200mm tires, dual shocks with multiple shock mounting.
Extended arm 2" over with dual shocks mounting 180 tires with multiple shock mounting options
Trees to mount modern forks
plates to mount newer brakes on stock forks
Extended arms to 8" over mono-shock...along with top shock mounting bracket...as close to a kit to mount mono-shock as possible
