So anyone ever used one for this? I might get it anyway to play with but it got me thinking about using it as a motorcycle lift. With benefits. Any opinions?
Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.

Sounds like a smokin deal. As Les says always some sort of safety brace.

Personally, I would just get one of these:
They work great. Lift the bike high and handle 1100 lbs easy.
$200 or so.

those old bobcats with the gas motors are squirrely to say the least,i personally wouldnt recomend it myself and ive done just about every stupid stunt that can be done with a skidloader or backhoe(just ask my neighbors! )Proxy wrote: So I have read everyone's solution to getting a little height when working on their steed. I have a Sears little lift that for most things suit my needs. But I broke my back about 3 years ago and lately I been wishing for more height too. So a friend has one of these and will sell it to me for $800. It runs and the hydraulics are solid. He has the bucket and a set of lifting tines too.
So anyone ever used one for this? I might get it anyway to play with but it got me thinking about using it as a motorcycle lift. With benefits. Any opinions?
i used to use my 435 bobcat excavator for hoisting bikes and cars/trucks off the ground but it was a 12,000lb machine ,now its gone so im learning how to use my jd 135 excavator for an engine hoist! :woohoo:

I must say if you bought it just for a lift it is a waste. You might as well work it and make some coin with it.
