I've been looking for someone that has used these forks for a kz900/1000 project. My spare forks are off of an 97 so they should be the same as what you used. Did you have to do anything with the steering stem? Very interested in your build. And by the way, beautiful bike.

Just cut the zx9 stem off flush at the top, and press the kz stem into the remaining zx9 stem. DONE, SIMPLE. Well it sounds simple anyways . lol.
