1983 KZ1100 LTD

I have a 1983 KZ1100 LTD in mint condition with only 23K miles. New tires, brakes, seat cover, all fluids, regulator, too much to list. I'm wondering what the value of the bike is. I am considering selling it.

Well Mr. Tbone...many many factors affect both sales and prices of bikes. Location -- some places bikes (particularly older bikes) sell better than others...you haven't mentioned where you live. Time of Year -- bikes sell better in the Spring in the northern US, but that has less effect in the southern US. Collectability--some models are more desirable than others -- your bike (KZ1100-L1) may be exceptionally nice but if potential owners aren't interested, then the price drops. Condition -- this last factor has some statistics to support selling price. Based on the Comprehensive Vintage Motorcycle Price Guide for 2011...(and your short description) you might expect between US$2500 to US$3400...but that is in the best of worlds.
