480 camshaft lift, will it not wear out valve springs rapidly ? I wonder how effective an oil cooler will be in Traffic. Very nice motor.

The oil cooler is not exactly helping you while stuck in traffic per se. It will keep temps down while moving. Hopefully you will have less latent heat when you are stopped. It will really depend on your specific situation. Now if you had some sort of electric fan that were blowing across your cooler, then that could help you while stopped.
