I watched the side hacks at the Isle of Mann on TV a few weeks ago. Takes big stones to race one of those.

Love 'em. This is the URS sidecar that Helmut Fath built to beat the almighty BMW factory rigs in the 60's. It had a dual crankshaft 8v 500cc motor that revved out to 15,000 rpm. It recently sold at auction for $160.000 at a bonhams auction. Auction notes:

sidecar racing is definitly on the bucket list love to try it at least once maybe ice racing no one up here does it on road race tracks anymore. but they still do it ice racing.
