im sorry but is there something wrong with you KB, how old are you, do you hold down a job, have you heard of the idea of "learning from your mistakes" ? STEER CLEAR OF THIS SHOP. PERIOD.

I believe he said he was a real youngin' guys, he probably took it to a shop they told him it was worth scrap and took it
It happens i was a mechanic for nearly ten years, its why i left i was tired of that kind of crap
That being said the shop he took it to quoted him on a restore im assuming. Could be a lie though

I just went back and read some old posts from the OP. He said he took the bike to Redline. Could there be 2 Redlines? I certainly would remember him if he gave me a Z1. There must be more to the story. BTW he got the bike from his father. Can you imagine that?
