How to obtain ownership in Ontario

I am getting a bike tonight that has no ownership. I originally planned on just racing it, but in case I like it too much and want to put it on the road, is getting ownership hard for a bike in ontario that has no papers?

i know in alberta (from experiance) all you should need is a bill of sale from the last owner go to registrations hand it over you should be good to go as long as it has not been involved in an accident and has no outstanding liens against it. they give you new paperwork in your name providing you have insurance.

You may have to jump through some hoops, but it is fairly easy in Ontario. If you do not have bill of sale you will need to go to city hall and do an affidavit and be not notarized. Remember when dealing with these people keep a cool head!!!
