Erik from OZ did buy the bike. This is the second bike I have found for him. Roy

9 grand is a steal. The last SR on eBay went for over 11 grand if I remember correctly.

I thought he should have started the auction with a dollar starting bid. That gets people involved in the auction part, and will usually bring in more money.

I'd be disappointed if that was my bike and it went for 9k.

seemed like a 5000 mile good shape sr would fetch some bids...wonder why no action???

The owner didn't have a clue as to the value of the bike.

The title was wrong on eBay. He should have used the sub decription as the listing.

He didn't detail the bike. What polishing that was done on the bike was done by me.

Ha!...it has a split windscreen...let him know he can have an OEM for his bike for US$8000 (I do actually have one)...that way I won;t feel too jealous.

I told my buddy, but he didn't want to jump on it. :laugh:

just go's to show...it can and does happen....600 for a MKII or a 1000 for a complete orig and early z-1 or in this case 1200 for a replica...

and there are more still out there...

there was an h2 here with chambers for 1100 a while back....

My friends bike is ready to start it's journey to Australia.

I have all the paper work in order and "spares" boxed and labled.

I need to find another $400.00 bike to work on. Roy
