That's the R2 "Superbike Replica" as Mother Kaw couldn't call it a "Eddie Lawson Replica" anymore as Eddie had already left Kawawski for Yamaha before this model came out.

The 1982 R model is the only year that can be truly called a "Eddie Lawson Replica". Telltale signs are Eddie's signature is on the original tank sticker on the first version and not on the R2 and the side tank stickers run across the bottom of the tank, not in the middle and have white on top, blue on the bottom.

Then came several other colors and the 1100R during the next few years.

And I won't even mention the S-1.

The frame # would tell the tale.

I swear to God, it's like I live in a trailer of common sense, and stare out the window at a tornado of stupidity.

I should have the jets by Saturday and have it back together by the evening. Roy

Okay I'll trade my right nut or one of anything that I have two of.That bike is going too draw some seriuos attention and coin.Just got the call back too work and if its still around after my newest paycheck.Im gonna try and buy it.Does it have a title?Been on the pogy for about 14 months but one paycheck should cover it once im back too work. Most of my life Ive been a mechanic but for the last 5 years or so Ive been working underground as a longhole driller/blaster.pretty hard way to treat yourself but the reward in coin makes it worth it.I hope to one day own a real ELR.Dont kill me for dreaming It just seems to me that these deals only come around at the wrong time for me

Very nice Superbike Replica.

It would take 5 3rd gen Camaros to equal what the SR is worth!

Well, rob @Z1A came through with the jets and i got to work on the bike today.

A couple of the float needles were stuck and i replaced them.

I got the carbs on the bike and it would not do anything right. It was running lean. The idle adjustment seemed to be sucking air so i filled them full of grease si i could still turn them. Fill with something else when adjusted.

Bike still was lean so i sprayed some either near the carbs and got a immediate rev.

Pulled the carbs off for the third time and found the intake boots were not tight.

Installed the carbs for the second time and it ran great.

The rubber on this bike is just like brand new. I didn't have much problem removing the carbs with the air box on.

This bike will sell on eBay.

The owner is bringing the side covers over tomorrow so i can get some good pictures.
