Ignore the JKA Than You have KZ First C indicates 1000cc second C indicates model of transverse 4 cylinder C model. A police model would be a JKAKZCP

You are right it is a 1980 Police bike. They did not start using the P until the J series motor. This is a Police bike with a MKII motor. The early Police bikes were designated as C models the J motor Police bikes were CP models

Actually, it is a 1981 KZ1000C4 model....last year of the 1015 Police bikes.
