Been wanting to get a FSM to replace the Clymers manual and found one a Craigslist today for a good price. Problem is is covers the kz1000a2a and I have the "a2". Any differences I should be aware of.

Thanks

Nothing to be real concerned about. A2A was just a later production of the A2. Tuning changes for emissions compliance, possibly added the restrictors on the pilot screws, little things. Main bulk of the manual should be fine and 1000x better than Clymer

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Ron is correct and I think the manual you are considering is the one with the part number 99924-1006-01 (have the seller look at the back of his FSM for this number)...it'll work for you.

Picked it up this afternoon, couldn't pass it up. P/N is the same except last 2 numbers are 05 and it's the revision after the one specific for the A2. Can't believe the difference in detail as compared to the Clymers or Haynes.

The last two numbers in the part number are actually the edition number...so you have the 5th edition...the one I mentioned was the 1st edition...you got the good one :)
