parts compatibility was created by demon_ted_1
i've just become the proud owner of a 1979 kz750! it's my first bike. there are some slight modifications that i'd like to do to it, so i was wondering if anyone could tell me what, if any, years are parts interchangeable with my bike? More specifically I am looking to replace the flat stock seat with a contoured one. any suggestions? thanks.

So, is your bike the 1979 750-twin or the 1979 production date 750-four?

You might get quicker answers by joining the following forum www.armbell.com/forum/index.php?mforum=kz400 as they have a section just for 750-twins. A number of members there are 750 owners and are a wealth of info.
