Kawasaki-Only Bike Show At Daytona!

I thought of no better place to post this than right here. There may be some of you going to the Daytona Bike Week. If you take your Vintage/Retro ride you can enter in an all Kawasaki Show. I am not going myself but wanted to share this news on this forum for those planning on going. Maybe a little extra incentive!

Hey Everyone

A couple things for y'all to chew on. One is a very cool all-Kawasaki bike show happening at Daytona that'll focus on sportbikes, cruisers and (!) retro bikes. The winner of each category will get a feature story written about the bike in question in a magazine focusing on that particular genre - and Moto Retro is backing the retro side of the competition. The bike and owner will also be featured on Kawasaki.com for a month. A panel of celebrity judges will choose winners, with Jason Britton hosting. This is a fun event, and owners are encouraged to ride right into the Kawasaki tent area at the Speedway, follow the "Kawasaki Bike Night in the Daylite" signage, and sign-up right there. The more the merrier, so please let your Kawasaki-owning friends know about it. The date is March 5th between Noon and 3:00 pm.

The second piece of news is that issue two of Moto Retro Illustrated is at the printer now and will mail to subscribers (and be available for single-copy purchase) in about a week. It took way longer than I thought, and my motocross crash before the holidays didn't help much. But it's done, and you can get a sneak peak at the cover and contents at motoretroillustrated.com. We're working on issue three now, and it'll hopefully be out in April. Again, please tell your retro-oriented friends about the magazine; sub sales are good, but we need to keep the momentum going if we're to make it past year one.
