Aluminum corrosion was created by Galactica
The rainy season has set in here on the wet coast. My kz900 has been parked in the garage and not ridden for over a month. There is now a white powdery corrosion growing on the engine, forks, etc. When I got the bike, it was a non running RUSTED mess. I dismantled much of the bike and cleaned it up so it is now fairly presentable. But now the corrosion is returning fairly rapidly.

Is there any way to prevent this. Zinc sacrifice? Electrical charge? Comments please.

I like Never-Dull. It takes some of the shine off of freshly shined alum but it leaves a protective residue. Nothing is forever tho. Still gotta so a real shine once a year and use the ND about twice a year. But I'm not a big chrome fan either. I like a nice clean polished metal look. GLuck!

This stuff cuts through most anything on most metals, also leaves a protective coating and nice shine
