(1) "Hold on, this bike is FAST -- but it is OLD, you never know what's gonna happen with a 30-year old bike!"
versus:
(2) "Hold on, this bike is fast...and...brand new and safe with excellent brakes, handling, and driveability and passenger comfort."
SHE'S HOLDING ON TIGHTER FOR (1) THERE.

and both of them still get my heart racing.
The two bikes, or the mothers and young girls?
You can only be young once, but you can be immature forever!

That is absolutely gorgeous...
I must be getting old for that red one just doesn't do it for me... Not that it's not a technical wonder but just doesn't have those lines we all love so much...
Ok, back to my fiber enlaced oatmeal....

you won't like a KLR. i owned one for two days. my two biggest concerns - underpowered, and develops a concerning weave about 75-80 mph. its also done top speed wise around 85ish. hell, you can't even get away from a soccer mom in her 250hp crossover texting her friends, loading in the dvd for the rug rats, getting directions on her gps, and doing everything else but watching you on your bike.
True, but you can turn off the road and take the backroad/trail home, and we all know that SUV's and crossovers are pavement princesses
