Bikes with smaller cc's but bigger frames.

I know this is kind of weird, but I would like a commuter bike to save me some gas money for regular around town farting around. My 550 was great powerwise, and was great on gas, but the bike looked funny under me (6'5" 270 pounds). My 1000 fits me better size wise, but for kicking around it aint so thrifty on gas...I have never seen a 650 before, and 750's never really looked much bigger than a 550 to me, any ideas?

I know that the 650 compared to the 900 is quite a difference, at least it feels like it. The 650 feels like a toy after riding the 900. The 650 is probably 9/10 the size of the 900. I am not sure about the 550 though.

As far as what you would look better on you would have to make that call. I guess a Honda Rebel 250 would be out of the question.

My Moms old boyfriend weighs about 280 and rode a Vulcan 750 and it did not look to little for his body frame.

yeah, I think V-Twin bikes are made to look ok with fat riders, seems like most fat riders are on them...

You could pick up one of these Johnny Pag's. Eight feet long and 300cc.

The web site won't even talk about where they're made.

Wonder if any of them have ever outlived the one year warranty?

Looks like they are from Orange County California according to the web site

300cc chopper Wow. There is a guy from Sanford Florida that messes with the Honda Rebel. He has a Rebel with two motors, a Rebel with a sidecar and just about anything Rebel. I guess the small displacement bikes have following.

theres a place in town that sells 2 kinds of bikes....automatic Ridley's and those jonny pags, there are a few kids riding on them, but there are more of them in the local classifeds...I was thinking about a kz750 twin around town...there is one for sale with no papers that I am tempted to buy. I will have to sit on it and see
