Yup... Just read this weekend....

They also had some interesting info on the 6 cylinder KZ1300, CBX series and Binelli 900.... Quote on the 1300, "Beast"!

I love this magazine for they show and discuss some truly cool old bikes.. B)

I have seen this magazine on the news stand and have looked at it. I read the article and just took advantage of the subscription deal of $25. I have two 78 Z1Rs plus one more minus the frame. The thing that the article neglected to mention was that the 78 Z1R frame had bigger tubes to stiffen it up some. The standard 900/1000 frame had 31mm main tubes the Z1R had 37mm frame tubes. This stiffened up the frame quite a bit. The problem was the 18" front wheel and the still very flimsy swing arm. Never the less I love the 18" front and the rear can be fixed with a GS1100 swing arm.

I'm a subscriber but one thing that sucks is I missed the cover of the Z1/KZ900... Would have loved to have that issue...

Oh well, maybe I can get a back issue of it...

I started my Subscription to "Motorcycle Classics on Nov-2 and received my first copy on November-5. That is amazing in three days from signing up. So I did get the copy with the Z1R article in it. I will have to see what back issues are available and what is in them. Anyone here know?
