Do You like Harleys & Orange County Chops

I haven't personally got into Harleys yet- maybe I am not old enough at 59.
Very popular bikes here in the UK with a massive following although a lot of the guys wear chrome German military helmets. I would personally be too embarassed to ride a bike like that in the picture. Maybe I am missing something?

I love watching Orange County Chops on TV, it is a real hoot!
Teutul senior is a great character- like a selfish kid with a new toy. Mikey is my favourite, wouldn't let him near one of my bikes though. Haven't worked out yet whether they are for real or a follow up to Baywatch.

I just don't get the German helmet thing...they are also popular in Texas...they were popular when I was in high school in California (and that was a long time ago)...and they looked wrong then, too.

That is the whole point. Being wrong. Anti-establishment anti-everything. Dress like you're a member of the biggest assho__ regime in the history of mankind and it makes you tough and nobody will mess with you. Most of the time it's just making up for inadequacies in other areas. Make sure ya get the Kaiser helmet with the spike. Another I like is the Centurion helmet like one of the Roman Legions. At the very least it makes you highly identifiable. Which is not always a good thing. Unfortunately the people whom would and should really get ticked off at them like the WW1 and WW2 vets are becoming history. The helmets were not designed for crash protection or aerodynamics then again anyone who wears them has nothing special to protect anyway.

OCC is worthless.

There were and are some very nice Hurleys.

id rather watch jessie james build a bike than those retards anyday,lot less drama and he actually builds stuff rather than just opening a catalog! i think youd be much more likely to find jessie sitting at the corner bar with us common folks :laugh:

my brother is 4 minutes in a car from their shop in n.y...we would go in the shop ..(once to be exact).....spiderman bikes,,,,halloween bikes,,,,action figures.. mens string t tops...action figures???????
they have sold more truck back window decals and beanie hats to more non bike owners than the oakland raiders have stickers on gangbangers impalas????

Hey kids get in here....occ is on.....and we just can't wait to see if paully's ever gonna get those boys to straighten up and get those precious bikes to the big motorcycle show in time for the awards ceremony????

OCC has been a joke since Vinny left. He was the real builder on the show. I like Rick, but he is talented but he is also a pussey who gets walked on by these baboons. Rick is good at fabrication though. Sr. has about 1 brain cell that works like a harley....sometimes it fires up and sometimes it doesn't, Jr. just takes credit for everything, and Mikey ...I just feel sad for him...poor bastard....I wonder if he will ever get laid?

Oh yeah and Jesse James....I thought he was cool until I caught him on Celebrity Apprentice until I figured out he was a complete douche bag.

Other than that....I wish they would put a show on TV that ust reviewed old bikes and the dudes who work on them in the garage.

i got it ...how about a reality show where a bunch of migddle aged homos sit around and watch reality shows, then argue with their friends online about which male t.v personalities are cooler and which ones are bad guys....that would be cool......what say????....i know some folks on here who could be the season ones stars..........:laugh:

There was a show called "Southern Choppers". They made these cafe looking choppers, kind of old skool. They had this skinny old long haired, long bearded fabricator that just did as he pleased. But he was good. Saw about 6 or 7 episodes. That was a pretty good show.

those guy's are offensive to watch they don't have one bike builder amongst them to me a bike builder isn't the guy with the biggest shopping cart. a bike builder is a guy that can do chassis work not buy the frame already done from a real bike builder (sam wills)not one of them could build a motor or tran's to save there lives instead of buying it complete from custom chrome. and real bikes don't have god damn themes. and by the way i do like certain harleys very much and will own an fxrs evo when the prices come down some more.
