tail fin on 82 kz? bad form?

I love the sexy tail pieces on the older kz bikes, my 82 of course doesn't have one...would it be in bad taste to add one? I have not seen it done so I don't know if it is faux pas or taboo or something

Its your bike so do what you want. When you get it done post some pics so I can do it to my bike.

haha, you're right...and the only people what would recognize the change would likely appreciate the sentiment. I don't plan on doing it soon as my bike has hardbags on it now covering the area up, but I plan on turning it into a bit of cafe racer in a couple years so I would add the fin then. I will post once my bike is post worthy

otakar has done it on one of his bikes and it looks terrific. I prefer the duck tails on Kawasaki's...I think they look better

I got a duck tail to put on my bike but I havnt got around to fitting it on yet. Some kind of mod needed not a bolt on.
