New Gauges, Thanks to Z-Resto was created by brakelikethe
Z-Resto, in Atlanta, specializes in gauge restoration for Kawasaki KZ, Z1, and H2.
After sitting for almost thirty years, my original gauges not only looked bad, they were practically useless. The speedometer needle would bounce 10MPH over and under the actual speed. The tachometer needle remained stuck most of the time. After running at a sustained RPM for a while the needle would finally move, then would remain stuck at that RPM.
The gauges are done and they look fantastic. The only complaint I have (apparently this is pretty common), is that now the gauges look better than the rest of the bike.

I was pretty impressed as well. He does nice work for a more than fair price in my opinion. Try and get some old Triumph gauges restored and see what it runs...

Bob does excellent work, fairly sure he could do something custom. Never priced NOS gauges, but my guess is that Bob's prices are very reasonable.
