Show lights? was created by Link14
My youngest daughter and I were at a bike night at Full Throttle Coffee house last week and she saw several Ninja's with LED lights on in the parked position. (She's pushing me for a Ninja 250 )They appeared to be colored and under the carriage. She thought it would be a great thing to add to the 900 ltd when I got it finished.
Has anyone done this to a KZ before? It's probably a sub project down the road aways, but I do think I've got some auxilary output wires on the bike and maybe a couple of LED light strips under the tank shining down on my shiny engine (one of these days) would look cool.

Dont forget the dingle balls hanging from the handlebars.Your led lights would look cool, and would probly help be seen better. May even cause a distraction.Local Law may notice you more.

I don't think the cops would like you running blue led's or red's facing forward. There are a couple of bikes around here that run them. Most I've seen are green and purple. Heck people still light up their dressers like peacocks. Led's are low draw. I think Whitney sells kits. Prolly all do.

If it floats your boat go for it. Most states, however, will give you a ticket for having those kinds of light on while moving. They are mostly for parking lot bragging rights.

Have seen them here on Haybusa... Truly depends on the theme/design/concept of your ride... Stock 900/1000, just don't see it working right...
For your daughter, no would say anything except, you go girl, good for you, looks cool...
For you.... Well I think you know the response....  Wonder if the the color comes in pink?

Nah, it would just be if it was parked, exactly like Don's pic. No pink...she wants a pink Ninja...no way!

I say light it up like a Christmas Tree if she wants. If she wants Pink then give her Pink. Then ride with her and be proud. My Daughter loves riding on the back with me. I guess it is because I was riding Wheelies with my Wife on the back when she was pregnant with her. I can't think of anything cooler than a young lady on a pink Ninja riding next to her Dad on a Vintage KZ...Russ
