My round trip is 80 kilimeters, I usually fill up when I hit 200 kilometers, and put in between 10 and 11 litres. I do drive the speed limit mind you, but still, most of my non-commuting ride is 2-up now, and I still get 40 MPG, I'm impressed! just wish I had a 20 litre tank!!![/quote]
I get about 30 mpg out of my KZ900. The smoothbores eat gas. I wish you would change you Avatar...LOL...Russ

My stock 76 900 with stock 26mm carbs gives me 36MPG. The trip to and from work is about 50/50 city/highway driving. highway I usually do about 70-75MPH city has quite a few lights and is true stop and go. What makes the difference are the BS34-CV carbs they are very fuel efficient and still deliver about the same power as what a set of 31mm smooth-bores would give. When properly set up. I took my 81 1000CSR and made it to represent a 82 GPz1100 (at this moment the motor is still stock with the exception of the exhaust and carburetion.)
