This is not KZ related but I am hoping someone here can help me out. I am helping a buddy rebuild his 95 FZR 600 after his blew a rod a few months ago. We got a new engine (from Ebay claiming to be freshly rebuilt) and we would like to check it out before simply throwing it back into the frame. We are going to check valve clearances and we want to check the compression. My problem is that my compression tester does not have an adaptor to fit the small holes for his spark plugs. Everything on this bike seems to be stuffed in tight spaces, including the small spark plugs. Does anyone know where I can get a fitting to be able to use my comp tester so I dont have to buy a whole new one? Also, what kind of readings can I get with a cold engine? I have read that the will be lower. Do I need to have the carbs and/or exhaust on to get a good reading?

Thank you, inadvance, for your help.
