40 grand and NO pics? I don't think so, even with pics or in person...... I'm sorry, but would not pay $39,000 for ANY motorcycle period!! I also don't get the "took engine apart" and stashed away? That part struck me as kind of odd.


This bike was on ebay a while back. A 1000 Classic (FI) still in the crate!! It went for waaay less than 39K!

i do some work for a man who at this stage of his empire build is dealing in fine art buying and selling.....he is into the 70's in stacks of millions......they do phone work some times when i'm around him doing my carpentery....."only take 3.5....oh well we gotta eat he 95,000....well than take 3 and we'll make it a quick sale...o.k call me back ...just do your best on this one it's is a very valuable painting.." are the kinda talk that i often overhear.....so go figure...if a piece of canvas with some dead guys take on a sunset is worth 3 million then a 0 miles vintage monsterbike of limited production could go for whatever a guy with 500 lbs. of big bills tucked away wants to pay......i think the no pictures is to spark interest......i saw that too a day or two back and was thinking too much also.....that z1-classic was neat deal too.....good post....update if anyone gets pictures

I paid $300 for mine and it has a tool kit. It isnt that pretty. But if you show your bike and have to have it. What the heck. Just like that Turbo. Shame that Turbo will never be ridden....Russ
