now that made me laugh!
my dad had a few jumps under his belt ( 82nd airborne )
he never did tell me how many.
i asked my cousin how many times he jumped and his answer was simple.
"never, i was pushed 47 times"

Unfortunately no.... I made him an offer and haven't heard back... I think he's holding off on it trying to get what he's asking for it...

$400 isn't a bad price but hell, if with title no problem otherwise the only thing worth it to me is the motor and the thing hasn't been started for 15 years plus ( he's never started it, got it in a trade of some sort)... He didn't know the history of it so it could be ceased, damaged gears who knows...

1977 1000's came with VM26 carbies so they're not worth a hole lot to me as well...

Same time, being the first year of the 1000 series, I'll see if still available next week and contact him again...
Who knows...

When I asked him what state the bike came from, didn't know that either... All in all, the motor is about the only thing worth a crap... maybe!

Ahh, no worries. There's another 77 on Craigslist but it says it doesn't run, needs a petcock, front tube and right side cover. Looks to be in good shape though.

You may be SOL on the 1000 Dave, I just clicked on the link to have another look at the bike and the posting has been deleted. Maybe he got the $400 he was asking.:S
