The first road bike I ever had was 1978 RD 350. I was about 13 or so and that thing scared the hell out of me. I would love to mess around with one again, probably A LOT cheaper than a Kaw tripple. These honestly were not long lived engines, I recall honing the thing every few years was commonplace. But DAMN they were fun.

Nice job on that old girl it should be loads of entertainment!
If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

I talked him into taking it out for a spin while I was visiting. He is having brake problems and didn't intend on riding it until his brake parts were installed. He cleaned the carbs and tank a few weeks prior and had not put gas back in it yet. He got so excited he forgot his shoes. :laugh:
