ok just got bike on road after a long winter of cleaning and rebuilding. So road up to ballpark and parked away from everyone I thought and a guy backed into my bike and knocked it over. I was glad he came and found me and gave me his insurance info. anyway insurance is allowing me $200 for muffler on kerker exhaust. Can I get just the end of the exhaust and can I get it for $200. They have not allotted me anything for rejetting.

That blows, where do you live. In California they have to return your vehicle to per accident condition, so if you can't find one for that price tell his insurance and get more $$$. Hope it works out for you. When I was wrecked on my 77 650 I held out and got $3,500 for my bike.

Doh I should have looked at your user name. I'd try some local bike shops.

Never accept a insurance company's first offer. It is not your fault that your bike got damaged. They do not have the right to tell you "We will give you $200 and no more". WRONG!!!. You will give me whatever it takes to bring my bike back to the way it was before your customer hit it. Call around, get some written estimates and make them pay you a fair price.
