Kawasaki 750 LTD American import 1981 Help was created by calive
Hello
This is a post for my Dad. He recently saved a Kawasaki 750 LTD American import-year 1981 from rotting in a hedgerow and is now doing her up. He cannot find information on what grade of oil and oil filter this bike uses.
My Dad looks on computers as some kind of dark art or witch craft hence why I am posting.
If anyone can help him I would be very grateful.

Greetings! Any multigrade oil should do...10W40 or 20W40 or 10W50 or 20W50, depending upon how he rides and temperature. The oil filter is supplied by any number of aftermarket manufacturers, EMGO and Fram leap to mind but I don't know what is available in the UK (hedgerow = UK)...the Kawasaki part number for the filter is 16099-003 and if an aftermarket filter lists this number, then it will fit. The filter fits the many many Kawasaki's so it will be readily available.

Best thing would be to get your dad a manual. You can get one usually on e-bay. (get the English version and not the ones in Runes, Pig Latin or the one written in blood (joke))
