A number of years ago (about 1968), one of the secretary's where my dad worked came into the office complaining her car wasn't running right. After a few questions it was determined the car was overheating so they told her to wait until lunchtime, then go and top-off the radiator with water.
That afternoon, my dad saw the lady and asked if she had done what they suggested. She said she had, and dad asked how much water it took - five gallons was the answer! Well, dad knew the car only held about 1-1/2 gallons of coolant at most, so he quizzed her about where she put the water - yes, you guessed it, she had put water into the oil filler (on the rocker cover) and filled the engine with water!
So, after work, my dad and his buddy went out, drained the oil (and LOTS of water) from the crankcase. Re-filled with oil, topped off the radiator, took out the plugs and spun the engine over. Put the plugs back and the lady never had another problem with the car!
Maybe the engine water flush does work!

Even the OP is caught up in the frenzy  . Hey, we've all got our skeletons in the 'cranial dysfunction, what was I thinking' closet (though maybe not to this degree). Gotta' give credit to a guy that can laugh at himself.Thoughts? I just wanna fix my bike. As for the flaming, well it kinda sucked at first but now I'm probably hitting refresh as much as some of you 'cause this shit's funny as hell...assuming I can fix my bike of course I haven't been to any of the other sites. This one's got enough going on
