It's a good start but unfortunately it will not make the STUPID problems that they cause go away.

Here I am cruising along thinking I have it all covered for parts. I am in the final stages, I get a nice little care package from Z1 thinking this has to be it, THE last purchase of parts! I had ordered a new rear tail light lens and DAMN it doesn't fit. It is the same shape but about 1.5" wider. WTF, my first thought was some how Z1 screwed up and this bucket of last years leftovers called an LTD, had a different light. NOPE look in the book and the original has 2 screws in the cover this one I have has 3. I don't know what light I have but it fits the bracket and looks pretty close. unfortunately the new lens is no way going to fit. and I can't buy a new lens for it as I have now way to know what it is. At the time the guy that put it on probably thought he was doing a good thing, and maybe even got it cheap. but it has hosed me.

so you need a different taillight housing then right that should not be a big deal i have one sitting outside the shop on the back of a drag bike frame i picked up on the weekend it is from a 1978 i think if you need it i'll send it to you no problem. just return the favor to somebody some day. pm if you want it. i wont use it ,it was on a drag bike so it has been gutted and has no lens but you can swap everything over.

I will have to take a pic or two of this wrong one and see if anyone knows what it is and wants it. The lens is scratched but not broken and I just blasted and painted the back with black lacquer I dont look halve bad.

not a problem i'm just glad you got one i'd hate for that bike to go swimming with the fishes just because of a taillight.
