Michigan Motorcycle Trip in May!
05 Mar 2009 09:17
Hello Everyone,
I am a grad student in Indiana, but I am originally from Michigan. I have 3 weeks off in May before I start working in Indy for the summer. My father, some friends and I, were talking about planning a motorcycle trip between May 7th and 27th.
I am hoping that some of you might join us on this trip (especially Limey)
As it stands I have 3 people committed, my dad on his R100, my friend Calvin on his 81 CB900C and me on my KZ.
I am interested in suggestions of where we could ride, what we should see, where we should stay, etc.
Any Ideas? Any suggestions? Any riders want to join?
Thanks,
Mike

Might consider Disney World with current special pricing (almost half-price accomodations), other central-Florida attractions all with good riding jaunts in between such as Busch Gardens, Sea World, Universal Studios, Daytona Beach, and many others.
I envy y'all!
Good Luck!

Can't make it the last week of May, but any other time I may be able to make it. Open to suggestions, but circle lake Huron, circle lake Michigan, ferry to Wisconsin, UP - are all possibilities.
Not certain about bike choice - may take the W if it is comfortable for cruising!

I like the Idea of circling lake Michigan, that would be a nice ride, how many miles do you suppose it is?
Huron would be cool too, got a passport?
