anyone here ever tour the Lincoln plant? just wondering if it would be worthwhile come summertime. any Lincoln Kawasaki workers on this forum? it would be something to meet someone who put my 80 Classic together.

Really? There is a Kawasaki plant in Lincoln? Man that's only 8 hours from Chicago. Would be a great weekend ride this summer.

Hey, I heard they never did tours. Glad I'm wrong! Just as an FYI, they produce mostly watercraft and ATV's at the Lincoln plant anymore.

However, I'm sure it would still be cool, and I'm sure there's a few bikes kicking around somewhere.

If you get the itch to come by, give me a pm. I'm in Omaha, and I'd be happy to show you some good places to ride.

my friends sister worked there in 70s-80s,it was a hell of a source for cheap parts back then !B)

On the way to Sturgis we can make a pit stop over. I am game for sure. I think that it would a Mahvalous idea.

Hmmmm, Tough decision, weekend ride, or stop on the way to Stugis...
I can hear the conversation now; "But honey, they only give tours on Thursday so guess I will have to stop on the way to Sturgis and by the way I will have to hit the road 2 days early..."
