Never seen one in real life but the Sei (six) is fairly famous as the prerunner of bikes like the CBX and KZ1300. Cool bikes

There were a few of those knocking around England when I were a young hooliganB)
I remember a demonstration of the smoothness of the machine involved standing a coin on its edge on the tank while the engine was running.
Few and far between these days and certainly a collectors dream. There was also a 250/4 as well.
Beautiful,beautiful machines.
But then Italian bikes are quite special.

I cannot check ebay at work, but i assume you are talking about the Benellio SEI's. I am pretty sure that they borroweed heavily on the Honda 500/550 design for there 750 and the newer DOHC 750's for the 900. there is an old fella aroung my parts here that was a dealer Benelli dealer till the mid 80's, he still has two brand new 900's and his personal 900 has over 60,000 miles on it.

That is the second Benelli 750 Sei that has been on eBay in the past month or so. The first was a fairly complete non-runner that went for over US$4000...the one in the above link has all the bits and pieces...the Benelli Sei remains one of my dream bikes (either the 750 or the 900)...
