Just out of curiousity , how are you determining the lean condition? With VP C14 gas my plugs look white and way too lean, but no aluminum on the electrodes. We were able to keep going leaner and leaner on my bike even though the plugs looked like white death.2.0 Rods are set at 1.85- 1.89 range usually...

i've been using c-12 am thinking about going to 14 anyway the engine is getting very hot quickly and is holding at 3000+ rpm i'm going to try those needle heights that you recommend to see if it richens it up any i know the idle has to be up with these carbs but it seems like its somewhat high and i'm getting some clutch creep that i really don't want,

Have u tryed the guys at dragbike.com yet ? there is a lot of guys there that have been using the lectrons for years. they may have an answer for u. Good luck.

is there a forum on that site i usally just go there to look for a reasonable car tire set-up and drool.

Start at Kawasaki zone,and general advice.There is a wealth of knowledge there.B)
